Kayla Gargalikis

Director

Kayla has been at WLS for over 13 years. She has filled many positions within the school from van driver to school age teacher and pre-k to bookkeeper. While filling these positions she has made her way up to the position of director. Her strong will and tenacity has given her a place to call home at WLS. The Lord has guided her along the way and continues to help her grow in this position.

 

Tara Williams

Director

Tara has been with WLS for going on 10 years now. She too has held many positions here and continues to excel at all that is thrown her way. Her love for the Lord and ability to stay positive in all things helps keep our school running smoothly. She is a blessing beyond belief and continues to help our school not only remain open but thrive!

Meet the Team

  • Hailey Valentine- Office Clerk

    Ms. Hailey has been a huge asset to WLS. Her positivity and contagious smile has made families and children feel at home. She has done a great job at keeping WLS running smoothly while also attending to parents billing needs.

  • Alexis Antopia- Sprout Assistant Teacher

    Ms. Lexi is brand new to WLS as a teacher, But is a WLS Alum! What a full circle! Her ability to step in and take control is awe inspiring. We are excited to see her grow and use her talents to engage the children. She is a great addition to our WLS family.

  • Shelley Landreth- Sonshine Teacher

    Ms. Shelley came to us with over 35 years of teaching! She has been our 3 year old teacher since she arrived at Wonder-Land in 2015. She has a tender heart and a love for the Lord that is unmatched. The way she caters to each individual child is why she is such an influential part of team.

  • Leslie Evans- Explorer Teacher

    When starting in 2017 Ms. Leslie was with our after school program. She was with that program for about 6 years when she transitioned into our Pre-K teacher. With over 10 years of experience in a Kindergarten setting we knew that this was a great fit. The children in her class are heard throughout the halls singing, praising, and learning new things. We are so blessed to have her in our Pre-K class

  • Christina Nguyen- Sunflower Teacher

    Christina has been with us for 4 years now and is a vital part of our WLS family! She started in the office and has been called to be with our school age children. Christina's patience and understanding when it comes to this age group is astonishing. She is continuing her education towards becoming an Elementary school teacher.

  • Ashton Valentine

    Ashton is another returning staff member! She has served in many areas of the school and is currently working in the school age program. Her positive teaching and willingness to lend a hand is a great addition to our program. She is hard at work growing in the ECE field and is also continuing her education towards becoming a Fully Qualified Teacher. We see big things coming from her.

  • Laurene Clark- Beanflower Teacher

    Ms. Laurene is a returning teacher here at WLS. Before she left she was with WLS for 8 years. We were ecstatic when she wanted to return to us. The discernment she has when working with the school age children is unmatched. The love and care she has for the children shows in them everyday. She is shaping them to be young, kind, respectful little humans and we see them maturing because of her. She is also taking on the position of Enrichment teacher for our preschool. Giving them extra care and attention while pointing them to the Lord!
